Eko selo Raj u Raju

At night, you could hear the river running, which was so relaxing. The little wooden houses felt warm and cosy, and the whole place was clean and well looked after. Raj U Raju in Bosnia has incredible mountain views, fresh air, and a peaceful feeling you just don’t get in the city. The staff were really friendly and made us feel at home straight away. The food was fresh and tasty, especially breakfast. It’s the kind of place where you can forget your phone and enjoy being outside.

The Disney style was my favourite, with Minnie Mouse statues, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, and the princess theme. The staff were kind and respectful, always checking that everything was okay. There were some room issues, including hot water and drinking water, but staying among the mountains and sunsets was a new experience for me. It’s a lovely, quiet spot for young people, children, or anyone who wants peace and views. I loved it and will miss Bosnia and its gorgeous scenery.

There have been a few minor problems since the new management took over, but the quiet and natural beauty here more than make up for them. This charming cottage-style hotel feels organic, and there’s a lasting sense of peace. I’d recommend it to anyone with a poetic soul who loves nature.

We stayed just as the hotel had changed owners, so it’s hard to give it a full rating. The new team is making a real effort to make guests comfortable, and they’re friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The place itself is lovely and quiet, with tall mountains around it and lots of little handmade details. For now, entertainment options are limited, or there isn’t much information about what’s available. The drinks selection is limited too, with no wine because it’s a halal place now. Restaurant food options are limited as well, with no vegetables or fruit, for example. The cash-only policy isn’t convenient for a hotel today.
