I celebrated my birthday here, and it turned into a full experience. The food was fresh, generous, and nicely prepared, and the staff were professional and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the hospitality was warm. It’s pet-friendly too, which made the stay even better. A perfect choice on Jahorina, highly recommended.

The winter setting in Jahorina and the hotel’s spot right beside the ski slopes are excellent. The rooms are spacious and nicely designed, but the stay fell short of what we expected from a place presenting itself as luxury. Housekeeping had visited by the time I came back from a walk at about 11 a.m., yet the only visible change was two towels left on the bed. The room didn’t seem cleaned or properly refreshed. I went to the spa around 11, hoping to relax, but it was a major letdown. It’s a very small space in a dark basement, more like a dim little room than a wellness area for couples. The receptionist said she had arrived only about 30 minutes earlier and nothing had been switched on yet. With the hotel completely full, it was surprising that the spa wasn’t ready by late morning, so we couldn’t use it. The whole hotel is loud and clearly geared toward families with lots of children. That may suit some guests, but it doesn’t work for couples after peace and quiet. The property may be fine for families mainly there to ski, but it doesn’t deliver the wellness, calm comfort, or premium experience it advertises.

Being right by the gondolas and alpine coaster makes the location perfect. The rooms are cozy, compact in a good way, and excellent value. Breakfast was perfect, but lunch was disappointing. The food seemed to come in only three versions: cooked just right, raw, or burnt to a crisp. Most of the staff were polite, though one man seemed offended by the world simply existing. Our safe got stuck, and a friendly maid helped us figure it out. Sadly, the pool wasn’t working, possibly because it was being renovated. The basketball courts are a delight, though their weather dependence isn’t really acceptable for this area. I’d give it a solid 7.5/10. It was an unforgettable stay, and I’d definitely recommend coming back next year.

All the construction here is about making more money, and it’s destroying nature. This shouldn’t be on such a beautiful mountain. It’s a scar on its face.
