Jajce Youth Hostel

The hotel's lakeside location is beautiful, but the rest of our experience was deeply disappointing. We asked twice to have the bathroom cleaned, and it never was. When we asked again that evening, we were told, “We don’t clean rooms here!” There was no trash bin in the bathroom either. When we asked about one, they said to use the bin in the room. It really felt like the staff didn't care about guests. The facilities were very poor. There was no AC in the kids’ room, no elevator, and we had to carry our own luggage upstairs. Even for a one-floor hotel, they should think about guests' comfort and handling luggage. Breakfast was the worst we had in Bosnia. This is the worst hotel I've stayed in in Bosnia, and maybe in all of Europe.

We travel often and live in the United States of America, and I don't usually leave reviews, but this hotel made me want to. From the receptionist to the waitresses, everyone was professional, upbeat, and welcoming. The rooms were super clean, the atmosphere was lovely, and the lake is beautiful. Manager Almir was great, and the food was delicious. This hotel deserves 5 stars. Great job!

The lake and surrounding nature made our stay feel special, and the location was so peaceful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and ready to help. Hotel Plivsko Jezero is a wonderful place to stay, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed the night and found the room very comfortable. Our little doggy could join us in the outdoor space, and we enjoyed the food. The staff were attentive and friendly while staying professional, and their English was good. The hotel also arranged a quiet boat trip on the lake, which was especially peaceful because the boat is electric. We held our wedding here with a modest group of family and friends, and the outdoor facilities and lovely lakeside location worked really well. We'll happily come back for a future anniversary, though we might bring our own coffee. Thanks again, Hotel Plivsko Jezero, for such a memorable setting and experience.
