Motel Plaza

Motel Plaža management, I’m writing as Miranda Rea, known as an influencer, beautician, and a woman involved in music and film, to share my honest impressions of my recent stay. I see my platform as a chance to let your voice be heard too, so I want to be direct. Most of the staff were excellent, and Mr. Mickey, your security guard, deserves special praise. His professionalism, kindness, and commitment stood out. He made my friends and me feel safe and comfortable, almost at home, and was a big reason our stay was so memorable. He represents your brand very well. I also had a very upsetting experience with a cleaning lady. She yelled and banged loudly, disturbing the peace, and I saw her publicly shout at and confront the guard because we were there. He later told me she had caused him trouble at work over the incident, which I find unacceptable in a professional setting. Her untidy and unfriendly manner and the bad atmosphere she creates within the team, in my view, don’t help the quality of your service. My criticism is about her behavior alone. The views were lovely and the place itself was beautiful, but the service was horrible. We came for drinks, then decided to have lunch while on holiday in Bosnia with our family of five. The food was good, but the staff were rude, arrogant, rushed, and unwilling to listen. They bluntly told us to order all the drinks we wanted at once because they were busy, even though only four tables were occupied. We saw other customers ordering whenever they felt like it, so the way we were treated felt especially unfair. We wanted more food and drinks, but left because nobody seemed to care. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for friendly, smiling service. A very bad experience.

We stopped for two hours on the way from Bihac to Sarayevo to see Plivsko Jezero Lake(Pliva lake). The lake was beautiful, the view was stunning, and we enjoyed boating. Afterward, my family and I went to motel plaza restaurant for lunch and ordered three kinds of pizza and five fresh orange juices. The server was rude and impolite, which made us uncomfortable. When we asked him for five empty plates, he gave us a strange look and ignored us. He treated us worse than the other customers. It seemed to us that some staff might be prejudiced against, or unhappy to see, certain people, particularly Muslims or Arabs. For the first time, we left no tip because we felt the server hadn’t earned one. His attitude means I wouldn’t recommend or revisit this restaurant.

We waited half an hour without anyone serving us, even though the restaurant was almost empty. They wouldn’t let us sit outside where there were plenty of tables, then didn’t serve us inside either. I’m Bosnian myself, so I can only imagine how they treat foreigners. I also heard staff talking about not serving anyone else anymore. They clearly didn’t want to work. Very rude, wouldn’t recommend it.
