The room had a roomy bed for two and good air conditioning, and parking was right in front. I picked this place because reception was supposed to be open until 2200h, though it was a bit expensive compared with other nearby options. I let the staff know I might arrive late, after being delayed getting into Bosnia from Croatia. Since they weren't fluent in English, we had to communicate through the app. They said security would be told and would help us get to our room. Arriving late on a Sunday also made finding somewhere to eat difficult. When I got there, I couldn't find the entrance. Google Maps pointed to a different gate that was closed. The person I reached by phone wasn't helpful, said there were no rooms and that he didn't speak English, even after I explained I had a booking. He told me to come later. After driving around, I found the road to the entrance and the security guard let us in. Breakfast didn't have much choice.

The room was spacious, clean, and pleasant, and breakfast tasted good. The hotel is in Ljubuski, close to Kravica waterfalls, though the industrial area around it means the window view isn't very nice. Smoking is allowed in the restaurant, unfortunately.

We enjoyed our stay, and it was great that dogs were welcome. The room had a big, comfortable bed, breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs, and there was plenty of parking. We had a nice walk into the center too. The town is really tidy.

The price was very reasonable for a small hotel in such a good location. Our room was large and neat, with towels and a little fridge, and the room service was lovely. The helpful woman was kind and cheerful. There's also a restaurant with lots of different dishes. Breakfast was included, with fruit, seasonal vegetables, bread, eggs, sausages, free drinks and coffee, milk and cereal, cheese and ham, plus chocolate croissants. Wi-Fi and parking were free.

I came from Canada to visit the place in Ljubuski where my great grandfather was born. When I told the staff my family had roots there and asked if they could help, they were on the phone within minutes and arranged a meeting with relatives I'd lost touch with. What an incredible gift, it made the trip so special. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make my stay memorable. Thank you again to everyone at Hotel Hum!
