Guesthouse Ejla

The location worked really well for us: town was a short walk away, and the bus and train station were just along the road. The apartment itself made a great first impression, even though it’s on the first floor of a plain-looking building. The host’s son met us and showed us in, and we were immediately impressed. The living space has a nicely finished kitchenette, with a remarkably quiet kettle. They’d even left washing-up liquid, a small detail we’ve often found missing elsewhere. In the bedroom there’s a double bed, bunk beds, and plenty of storage. The curtains kept the light out, there were enough sockets for our devices, and both rooms had effective air conditioning. The apartment was well finished, and communication through the booking website was always answered quickly. One drawback was the noise from cars stopping at the traffic lights just below the bedroom window. The windows are set up for secondary glazing, but the secondary panes were missing. In the bathroom, there also wasn’t anywhere to hang a towel.
