I was able to sleep peacefully despite the busy road next to the property. The hostess was friendly and had the room ready as soon as it became available, even though I arrived in the morning. Getting there was straightforward thanks to the clear instructions. It’s up a steep hill, and the rough cobblestones near the end made pulling a wheeled suitcase a bit of a struggle, but the views are great. The room was basic and clean, with what you need for a short stay: a fridge, plates, strong air conditioning, and wifi.

The place is up a quiet lane among fruit trees and greenery, about a 10 minute walk down the hill to town center and the old town. There’s a friendly bakery at the bottom with cheap, good-quality food, handy for snacks. We spent 3 nights there in early August and found it super clean. Our apartment had a main room with a double bed, plus a separate kitchen and bathroom. The wifi was good, and there’s a TV, though you don’t need it here. The people running it were really friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. The terrace has incredible views over town and is a nice place to sit for breakfast. There’s also a washing machine and a patio fridge with beer, available cheaply on an honesty basis. Good value for money. I can’t fault the place and would definitely stay again if we return to Mostar, which I hope we do.

Parking at the property made a real difference, since driving and finding a space in town can be tricky. The room was great, with a view over the whole city. It’s a worthwhile uphill walk from the center, though older travelers might find it hard.

Lovely owners and a wonderful view, it’s a great place. Just don’t let navigation send you through the city: take the nearby main road. Some of those city streets are too narrow for anything larger than a VW Golf 2 or Fiat 500. Perfect otherwise. Best regards!
