Hostel Hercegovina

My family and I loved staying here, and we loved Mostar too. You can walk to just about everything, including shops, food markets, restaurants, the bridge, churches, mosques, and museums. Amir and his brother are fun and friendly, and the family run the hostel. The rooms were clean, towels and bedding were provided, and the beds were actually comfortable. 1000% recommend this lovely place. Stay somewhere else and you’ll miss out!

We booked all four beds in a dorm with a private bathroom, and it worked perfectly for our family of four. It’s good value and suits families, but solo travelers fit in too, alongside families and backpackers. The rooms were neat and clean, the space was lovely, and the rooftop terrace was amazing. Taso was friendly and accommodating, and we loved talking with him. The location is right in the heart of Old Town, just a five-minute walk to Mostar Bridge. I’d give it more than five stars if I could!

We were so happy with the stay and are still thankful to the owner for helping us out at 1 am. We’d arrived in Mostar very late after our Airbnb was overbooked, and another hostel picked us up. Adi Hostel was full, but its host called the owner of Hostel Hercegovina, who still had a room and kindly came to get us. The hostel was clean, central, and nice. The rooftop, where you can eat and smoke, has a great view. The owner was so friendly and kind.

We could walk to anything we needed, and the location was great. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the rooftop terrace has amazing views of town, a perfect spot to relax. Taso, the owner, was so friendly and helpful. Talking with him may have been my favorite part of the stay. Great place and people!
