Hostel Majdas

Majda, her family, and their generosity made this stay so memorable. They welcomed me with tea and biscuits, and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The dorms are bright, colorful, and spacious, with comfortable plush beds, and breakfast is homemade. Majda's brother Bata leads a spectacular tour that mixes lighthearted fun and sightseeing with true, personal accounts of some of the area's devastating history. For me, this is the only place to stay in Mostar.

The trip to the waterfalls was more than a tour, it gave me a deeper understanding of the region and its culture. Check-in was lovely: Majda welcomed me with a small snack and explained what I needed to know about the hostel and area. The staff were kind and helpful, and the common space made it easy to meet other travelers. The whole house felt warm, clean, and safe, with spotless, well-designed bathrooms and shower. I had the best sleep of my three-week trip in that incredibly comfortable bed. There's a special feeling as soon as you come through the door. I felt relaxed here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting.

Majda is so welcoming, and the hostel has everything you need. The bathrooms are spotless too. One of the best places I've stayed!

It's a family-run hostel in a superb location, with clean, nice rooms, homemade breakfast, and a really interesting tour. The service was great, just ask them about anything. I paid 100€ for 2 nights, 1 breakfast and the tour cost.
