We were given two single beds instead of a double, though I’m not sure whether that was a mix-up or because of availability. Aside from that, the stay was comfortable, with a modern, clean interior and useful amenities. Staff were polite and helpful, and breakfast had a decent range of continental food, including a nice selection of halal options. At night we could hear running water, probably from the air-conditioning system, which was annoying. The hallway lights also flickered or didn’t work properly during our stay. The hotel was pleasant and good value for the area, and fixing those small issues could make it a five-star experience.

The staff were really lovely. One man went out of his way to help me with something, and I appreciated his kindness a lot. The room smelled bad, or maybe it was just the bathroom. There was hair on the towels, so I wondered if the room and towels had been cleaned properly.

Breakfast was disappointing: the hot food was only lukewarm, and I didn’t like the coffee. At first the room seemed nice, but the TV didn’t work, so we moved to another room that felt like a downgrade. The bed linen was too short to cover both of us properly. There was no walk-in shower in the second room, so we had to climb into the tub, which felt risky, especially with water on the floor. I won’t be back.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times for work and like it. The location is good, though it looks a little worn compared with how it used to look.

We came back after ten years and were thrilled by the city all over again. This trip we had our two children with us and saw and did a lot. The hotel is very close to the old town, so we could walk everywhere easily. It’s friendly, clean, and good for families. We wholeheartedly recommend it. Family Brada
