Hotel Jadran Neum

Breakfast was delicious, and the room was spacious and super clean, with a large wardrobe and a big, clean bathroom. From the big balcony you can see the mountains, the coast and the sea. Such a beautiful view to enjoy with a coffee.

After a long trip from Sarajevo, we checked in and had dinner at the hotel. We were told everything was Halal, but they were apparently serving pork, and a few of us Muslims accidentally ate some. The hotel should have told us or kept the food separate, and should take responsibility for this. The Wi-Fi was very slow too.

We only booked here because everything else in the area was sold out, and I'd choose somewhere else if I had the option. The location was good, but the hotel sits by a very busy, noisy road. Parking was extremely easy, though maybe I just got lucky, and check-in was simple. The roof pool was fantastic, but when we went up to swim in the evening, the advertised bar wasn't open. Rooms are very basic, almost like minimal IKEA furnishings, though the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre too, especially the coffee. It came from machines, which is fine, but it was clearly cheap powdered coffee, so bad I couldn't finish a cup, and I'm not fussy about coffee.

This felt like being stuck in a roadside motel. The hotel is by a busy road, lots of buses stop there, and exhaust fumes get inside. It was impossible to use the balcony because of the smell. It doesn't look like a 4-star hotel, and most services are poor. There's no gym or fitness room, the indoor pool was closed, and there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms. The food was very repetitive, especially breakfast, with few items to choose from, and the coffee was undrinkable. There's nothing interesting nearby, and it's a long way from the bay. In the heat, you have to walk down hot concrete, then climb the hill back to the hotel. There's no beach, just people laying towels or blankets on the concrete, and no public transport at all. It was impossible to get a good rest there.
