We booked at the last minute while we were already driving, and arriving at Hotel Vamos in Sarajevo felt like such a relief. On January 3-4, the city was getting heavy snow and rain, and we'd driven all the way across town in it. We were so glad to reach this lovely place. Mr. Omar greeted us that evening with real warmth and helped us get settled. The rest of the team also helped us extend our stay and even cleaned our car during the snowfall. We’re from Antalya, where snow is rare, so the weather felt almost apocalyptic to us. With everyone’s help and kindness, though, it became a memorable adventure, and we were able to continue our drive home safely afterward. The hotel has a warm feel and a great balance of price and quality. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, hot, and served on time. We’re grateful to all the staff for looking after us, and we’ll remember the place fondly. It’s right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of the main sights, so we didn’t need the car or other transport to explore Sarajevo’s beautiful historic spots. One day here wasn’t enough. If we come back to this beautiful city, we already know where we’d love to stay. Thank you to the team, the owners who created this concept, and even fate for bringing us here.

We had a lovely stay at Vamos Hotel. The staff were warm and helpful, always smiling and happy to share tips about Sarajevo. It’s in a quiet spot but still close to everything. Our room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out, with a cozy, private feel that made it easy to unwind after exploring. Breakfast was another highlight: generous, fresh, delicious, and with both local and international choices. You can see the care they put into the details. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone after a welcoming, well-kept place in the city.

We spent a couple of days at Hotel Pension Vamos while I was in Sarajevo for a university exchange. It’s right in the heart of baščaršija, and the service was fantastic. The two lovely women working there were so dedicated and made guests feel comfortable. I’m especially grateful for the tea and good cheer before I left. I’d recommend staying here :)

We had a clean, welcoming place to stay, and the room was just right for us. It’s easy to walk to the center from here. The staff were polite and friendly, and letting us park inside was essential since we had camping gear. Definitely recommended :)

Breakfast was superb and the location is great. Aida, the owner, is super friendly, as are the staff. The room was smaller than we expected, but comfortable and fair for the price. They did their best to accommodate the three of us adults. It’s a humble homestay with an owner who has a big heart. I can’t complain much and would come back on a future visit.
