Saraj

I loved the beautiful, characterful hotel and its great location. It's outdated and the walls are a bit thin, but it has what you need. The staff were very, very nice. They even packed food for me when I had to leave for a flight before breakfast. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were warm with a beautiful city view. There were plenty of places to sit and conference rooms. Keep in mind that the main building can be a little cold in winter. The ensuite bathroom had a nice shower and toiletries, and there were toilets near the restaurant. The restaurant food was good, and the staff were very attentive. For coffee, I'd recommend a caffe above the hotel: walk a little way up the little road for gorgeous views. Clean, safe, and a great location!

Very disappointed. My mother fell and broke her Leg on a step where the light in the main corridor was Very dim. The rooms were old for the price of modern ones.

The breakfast was below standard, and when we complained to reception, nobody listened. The beds were old, the carpet worn, the toilet broken, and the shower in very poor shape. The TV and heating didn't work either. In 35 years of staying in hotels, this was the worst experience we've had. I strongly advise against it. If you're going to SAREJEVO, don't book this hotel, you'll regret it! Necip Gungor

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the mountain side view was no problem for us. The staff were very kind, and breakfast was simple but good. We only stayed one night, but had a lovely time in Saraj hotel. City Hall is about a 10-minute walk away, so the location is perfect.
