We came by motorcycle planning to stay just one night, but the place suited us so well that we stayed longer. It’s self-contained, so we could pick up food at nearby shops and cook, and there’s a fridge to chill a few beers. The garden and terrace were lovely for sitting, relaxing, and eating. The place was spotless, with good Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and free parking on site. It’s a short walk to the beautiful town and river, and we couldn’t fault anything. The owner’s a nice guy, too.

Liked: The host was welcoming and friendly, and there’s a nice sitting area beside the room. It was an okay place overall. Disliked: This felt more like a room with an electric stove than an apartment. I wouldn’t cook anything there beyond making coffee. The room was cramped and smaller than it looked in the photos. It’s quite far from the center. The price is low, but there are plenty of other cheap places in town. Very bad: After I left my 6/10 review on Booking.com, the host sent me a lot of WhatsApp messages asking me to change it. I’d call that harassment. He also posted a comment on my review that was full of lies.

The host was very friendly, and it was a great value stay. You can walk to the city center in about 10-15 minutes.

We got more than we expected for the price, and the owner was especially helpful. I’d definitely come back if I visit Trebinje again.
