Dubrovnik Hotel

The room had silverfish, and when I brought it up, the response was basically a shrug and that there are insects in Zenica and I should accept it. That indifference was unacceptable. The beds also didn’t look clean or inviting, and breakfast was extremely poor, with very little choice and hardly anything fresh or appealing. The breakfast staff were arrogant, vain, and unfriendly, the worst service we experienced during our stay. There was also a serious payment problem for our business trip. If your company books the room and gives you a card for payment, be aware it may be declined at checkout. They only accept a physical credit card on site, and a card guarantee or authorization isn’t enough. You may end up having to pay out of pocket. We trusted the positive reviews, but Hotel Dubrovnik in Zenica was a complete disappointment. I strongly recommend avoiding it.

The pillows were huge and hard, but otherwise I can’t complain. The room was spacious and clean, service was good and friendly, and the location was excellent. Check-in and checkout were hassle-free, and there’s parking on site. Breakfast was fine, though limited compared with hotels elsewhere in the world. I’d recommend staying here.

The room was spacious, the location right in the city center was perfect, and breakfast was great. Good value for money, too. The Dubrovnik restaurant next door is worth trying, the food was great.
