Hotel Fontana

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and breakfast was excellent in a lovely room on the top floor. The stairs are the nicest way to get around the building, though the small lift can carry luggage and people if needed. We had four clean, comfortable rooms, each with its own pleasant feel, soaring ceilings, and wood floors. A couple were small but perfectly fine, and most bathrooms were small but updated. The air conditioning worked great. This is an older hotel with real charm and history, right across from the Trevi Fountain in the heart of Rome. You can walk to most places from there. We’ll certainly plan to visit this special gem again.

Hotel Fontana felt like a peaceful retreat by the water, with lovely views and a great atmosphere. Our room was spotless, the WiFi worked reliably, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Each morning started with fresh coffee and a delicious spread of food. We’d traveled all the way from Toronto, Canada, with high expectations, and the hotel surpassed them. The Fajzić family welcomed us warmly and treated us like their own. We’re deeply grateful to the whole Fajzić family for their kindness, care, and wonderful service. We felt part of the family and appreciated every moment. We can’t wait to return and wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Fontana to anyone visiting Zenica.

The food was good, but we waited a really long time. It took 30 minutes for two plates of chicken.

I spent almost three weeks at this lovely, cozy guest house and had a great time. Milada and Fadel run it with their two sons, and the whole family treated me like one of their own. Milada cooks the heavenly food herself, such a treat. I really enjoyed the hospitality, the delicious meals, the big smiles, and how clean everything was. I hope I get to go back.
