The location is amazing and the rooms are beautiful, making this a solid four-star resort. Most staff were pleasant and friendly, though some in the front desk, bell area, and lighthouse resteraunt area could come across as rude. Rooms were cleaned well each day, but body towels seemed to be rationed. Breakfast at the lighthouse restaurant was great.

The hotel staff were wonderful, kind, attentive, and genuine, and Natasha at the front desk stood out in particular. The location was fantastic and the atmosphere enjoyable. The hotel itself felt a bit outdated, though, and the thermostat was broken. I reported it, but it wasn’t fixed during my stay. I was also surprised by the menu. I came from the US hoping to try authentic Bajan food on this beautiful island, not tacos, burgers, or pizza, but the food was disgusting. I ended up taking taxis to find better places to eat while I relaxed and regrouped. I might return if the menu includes more local flavors and offers a real taste of Barbados.

Our room looked out over the beach, and sitting on the balcony to watch the ocean was really nice. The beach was never super crowded, probably helped by the location tucked into the corner of the island, and we were able to get loungers. The staff were all friendly, and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We had a great stay and were very happy with the visit.

The grounds and the view were great, and the karaoke at the rum bar was really entertaining. The staff were very accommodating. For a large resort, it felt surprisingly personable. I only stayed one night and can’t wait to come back for longer.

As a diamond member, this wasn’t the best Hilton I’ve stayed at. Service quality was low. I called three times in an hour asking for water for the room and still got nothing. Nobody on the property smiles. Maybe that’s Caribbean culture, but damn, you can spend one tenth the price and get three times better service in Asia.
