Mangrove is a long way from Barbados' tourist areas, but it worked well for getting a feel for local life and staying away from the city's hustle and bustle. A car is definitely recommended, since there's not much to do nearby otherwise. You can catch a bus at nearby stops, though they don't come very often, and ZR vans don't serve the area. The Terraces was a positive experience. The rooms were spacious, the beds as comfortable as in a 4/5 Star hotel, and the big kitchen had the basics for cooking a good meal. The apartment also had a washer we could use free of charge, which is rare. By taxi, it's only 6 minutes from the Airport.

It was clean, cool and very accommodating, and I got a great price. Foul bay, with beautiful sunrises and sunset, is a 20 minute walk away. The bus depot is 2 minutes away, with three different buses available. For a faster trip to Bridgetown, the bus stop is a 5 minute walk.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious apartment, close to the airport, with great management. I’d definitely make it one of my first choices in Barbados. Hats off to u Mr Vincent!!

We only needed a place for one night, and its location near the Crane resort worked out really well. Vincent the owner was great about checking that everything was okay. The place was spacious, very clean, and well accessorized. Recommend.

For exploring the island on a budget, this is a superb option. It was super clean and spacious, and Vincent the Owner was incredibly hospitable and helpful.
