South Ocean Villa 402

The location is great, but the house was not clean. We were told the cleaning staff were taking care of it, yet we found a g-string behind the couch and something in the pullout bed that we couldn't identify, maybe throw-up. Be wary of the property management. I've been staying here for 4 months and asked repeatedly to have the bathroom lightbulbs fixed. They never were, and now the bathroom is like a cave. I requested utility bills for four months straight, but within a week of leaving, two months' worth of bills suddenly became available. I only stayed 11 days in January, so at first the property manager chose not to charge me for those days of internet. But when I didn't want to pay a December water bill that was already unpaid, she found all the January bills and wanted me to pay those too. I have no issue paying what I owe, nothing more or less, but the whole transaction was completely unprofessional. I'm already expecting trouble with the deposit. If these transactions turn out satisfactorily, I'll change this rating.

Our apartment was right by the ocean, with a balcony and French doors facing the water. It was such a peaceful spot. We could open the doors or sit outside and listen to the ocean roar. Beautiful place.

The setting is beautiful.
