Mango Bay All Inclusive

The Caribbean Sea, rum, Banks beer, and glorious food made this feel like paradise. The beach is the best I've found anywhere in the world, and the staff are among the friendliest I've met. The hotel is excellent. I'd give it more than five stars if I could. What more could you want?

I've stayed in this area before and it's a great location. We arrived yesterday, so there's still time for things to improve, but my first day at Mango Bay raised a few concerns. The staff are great, and one person kindly brought me some fish when lunch was short on it. Lunch itself felt like lining up for school dinners. They asked us to sign a waiver saying the hotel isn't responsible for anything that happens during our stay, even while walking around the property. That struck me as odd. The free Wi-Fi is poor and keeps dropping out, and a VPN isn't compatible with their system. So we're asked to sign away responsibility for incidents at the hotel, yet can't use our own VPN to protect ourselves online. That seems like an issue. Let's see how tomorrow goes.

Damien was such a fun bartender, and most of the staff were so friendly and accommodating, though there were a couple of grumpy ones. This was our first trip to Barbados, and Mango Bay exceeded our expectations. We had beautiful ocean views with dinner each night, and the food menu offered different choices each evening, including a vegetarian option. Drinks kept coming and were delicious. Our room was cleaned every day and turned down each night. The beach was lovely, snorkeling was a lot of fun, and the included watersports were amazing. We'll be back next year.

We enjoyed the lovely beach and the really friendly staff. The live music was too loud because it was right beside the restaurant, but the staff responded and turned it down.
