Tropical Sunset Beach Apartment Hotel

The rooms were spotless, and the linen was changed almost every day. There were plenty of sunbeds, with no need to rush out to claim one with a towel, which was a real bonus. The little hotel is right on the beach, with Zachios next door for the beach bar and restaurant, sunset views, and happy hour. Masseys is just across the road, and Limegrove mall is nearby too. It’s a lovely location, though the hotel feels a bit dated and tired, and the beach narrows a little at high tide. This is our last morning 🌄 after a lovely holiday, and we’re looking forward to coming back! 😎

We were very happy with what we got for the price. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the hotel made a real effort to keep everything tidy and clean, from our room to the beach, pool, and surrounding area. The location is convenient, with a good supermarket and a bus stop across the road, as well as easy access to the beach. Kamia is usually around Zaccio's in the morning. She’s a superb, friendly tour guide and helped arrange a boat that picked us up from the hotel beach to go turtle swimming. My only criticism is that our room felt very outdated, especially the kitchen, and would benefit from refurbishment.

The staff were absolutely amazing, and we had a perfect sea view. The room’s electric fittings, like the lamp and fan, could feel a bit more romantic, but everything worked well. The hotel sits on one of the island’s best beaches, a long stretch of powdery sand with just little waves and colorful fish. There’s a platform out in the sea to swim to, and catamarans sometimes anchor nearby. The beach is shared with a few other hotels. With such a beautiful beach, why bother with the pool? A big supermarket is just across the street, with nice cafes and very good restaurants close by. There’s a bus stop for trips north or south, both of which are interesting to explore. I love this hotel and would definitely book again. It was a dream 🌴🥥🌊🏖️

The balcony sunsets at Tropical Sunset hotel were unlike anything I saw anywhere else in the Caribbean. Every room gets that view, and it was magical every evening. I stayed for two weeks in October 2023 and had an incredible time. The beach is right outside, and the staff were so friendly and caring. My room faced away from the street, so I slept really well with only the waves to hear. There’s free parking beside the hotel, a supermarket across the road, and great shops and restaurants at Limegrove about a five-minute walk away. It had everything I needed for a fantastic holiday.
