Room 202 was beautifully decorated, with a wonderful double balcony where we could look out over the turquoise sea at breakfast and enjoy the sunsets. The villas have two pools and a private gate onto the beach. We stayed in Holetown, Barbados, opposite the Chattel Village. There are three fine dining restaurants to the left and three beach bar-restaurants to the right, all a short stroll away. Masseys supermarket and Limegrove shopping center are across the road, and plenty more restaurants are within walking distance. Everything came together for a fabulous holiday.
I came to this villa to do a client's hair and was struck by how spacious it was, with a gorgeous view of the pool and beach. It could fit a big family, and I’d definitely look into booking a few days here to relax. Villas on the beach is in holetown, just seconds from Massy Supermarket, restaurants, and a medical center. Hair She Goes Braiding Parlor, in Durants Village St. James, is only a few minutes away.
Simon is a real hoot and loves to pull your leg. We had a great week here and would come back. For a family vacation, the experience was excellent, and the price was good for the amenities and service. The beach view is amazing. There’s a swimming pool and maid service with cooked meals. The veranda is beautiful, with room for seven people to sit outdoors and a table for six. Inside, there’s a fully furnished kitchen, fridge, and plenty of space for guests. The mall, bank, and grocery store are all within walking distance. All the rooms have great air conditioning and ceiling fans. There are sun shades on the veranda for hot days, along with overhead fans.
The villa is beautiful and right on the beach, with restaurants, a grocery store, and other places right nearby. The owner, manager, and cook/house person were all awesome. Shereene made great meals. I’d stay here again and recommend it to everyone.
The ocean and beach views are gorgeous, and the staff are pleasant, polite, and helpful. The accommodations are comfortable. Those parts would get five stars from me. The setting felt like a retirement community, with sunbathing and a dip in the pool for exercise as the main activities. Most residents are older and like things very quiet. I only saw couples aged 65 and over in the building, many with wheelchairs or canes. If you want quiet, this place may suit you. There are plenty of places to eat, drink, and things to do next door, though none are on site. There are lots of rules about guest conduct. None seemed unreasonable, and they benefit the community, but the place has the feel of visiting a relative who likes everything kept in order. No music or glassware by the pool, and you’re asked to wash sand off your feet and body before going into the pool or villa. It’s not set up for kids. The residents are mostly older and prefer a very quiet atmosphere.
