Round Rock Apartments on Sea

Stay away and don't trust the photos, this place looks nothing like them. The rooms are dirty, miserable, and poorly maintained, with very old towels and toilets that barely flush. The front desk girl had pretty bad manners as a host. The restaurant feels like an ecoli outbreak waiting to happen. Maybe they can grill fish, but when I was there the toilet was overflowing into the kitchen. Seriously ghetto accommodation.

We got off to a great start to my birthday weekend here. I spoke with manager Ermenta before we came from California, and she said a 4am check-in would be okay because of our flight and that she'd arrange a driver. The driver picked us up, gave us a key, and we could crash. Ermenta checked me in the next morning and was very nice and sweet. The room was good for the night, a very spacious apartment, especially if you're a surfer. Don't expect the best amenities, but appreciate the love they show. A great pit stop. Loved it.

The rates are way overpriced for what feels like a run down motel. The property is dirty and run down, with broken fixtures, old towels, and generally unclean conditions. Our patio door wouldn't open and close properly, and the website photos don't show the state of the place. Traveler beware of round rock.

This is the Bates Motel of Barbados. Outdated and overpriced, with terrible customer service and no warm shower during any of our 9 days there. We waited three days to get a kitchen lightbulb changed, and the cleaner lost our keys. There are more complaints than I have time to list. We left without a refund and found more comfortable accommodation for the rest of our time in Barbados. Avoid!
