The House, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort - Adults Only

Meals were a highlight, with fresh ingredients and local flavours that could rival fine dining. Even a quick bite was delicious. The service was excellent throughout our two-night stay. Shane welcomed us first, and every staff member was attentive and professional. Jason, you have a great team. A water taxi also goes to the other properties. I would’ve liked a workout room, but I could use the one two doors down. Since it was so early, a staff member walked me there to make sure I had no trouble getting access. From the moment we arrived, people were among the kindest and most welcoming we’ve met. The stay was brief but absolutely perfect. We’re already planning a much longer return, for the lovely people, great service, and beautiful sunsets.

We liked that The House is adults-only, directly on a very clean beach, with delicious gourmet food, good service, and a water taxi that lets you see other parts of Barbados. All four Marriott-managed hotels have clean, beautiful beaches to walk along. Water shoes are a good idea if you want to walk or swim at the beaches. We swam every day, and the sea was calm, clear, and crystal blue. The House’s basic gym is at Treasure beach. It’s a short walk by road, but the sidewalk is uneven in places. There’s a gas station between the hotels where we bought sunscreen. I went to the one yoga class offered, a pleasant outdoor practice by the ocean. Our room on the third floor had an ocean view, and we could hear the waves and see the sunrise with the super full moon. Housekeeping did an excellent job twice a day. The breakfast buffet had varied choices throughout our stay, including pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, vegetables, potatoes, fruit, cheese, smoothies, and eggs made to order. We had buffet dinners two nights and ordered room service to our balcony one night for an extra $20. We also enjoyed the water taxi to the other three Marriott-managed hotels. This was our first trip to Barbados, which is beautiful, though we’ve travelled extensively in the Caribbean. We arrived on NYE after a driver arranged by The House picked us up. We saw the beautiful last sunset of 2025, then had a savoury, gourmet, memorable NYE dinner. The hotel had live music and dancing until 1 am, with two sets of fireworks over the ocean. It was a wonderful, relaxing start to the new year. 🇧🇧

The setting has to be one of the island’s most spectacular. I was part of a party of six at The House, and none of us could find a fault. The staff, rooms, and food were all amazing, and we felt treated as individuals. The pictures don’t lie. I can’t recommend The House enough, and if you’re thinking of going, you won’t regret choosing it.

We loved the ocean-view room and the intimate feel of this small resort. It never seemed crowded, and having just one restaurant suited us. The hotel food was actually better than what we had at the nearby Cliff restaurant. Live music at dinner was a real highlight. I went for my honeymoon and wasn’t disappointed. Can’t wait to come back for an anniversary!
