Mango Bay Beach Resort

The beach is the best I’ve ever found anywhere in the world. The hotel is excellent, and the staff are the friendliest you could meet. Add the Caribbean Sea, rum, Banks beer, and glorious food. What else could you want in paradise? I’d give more than five stars if I could.

I’ve stayed in this location before and it’s a great spot. This is only our first day at Mango Bay, so things could improve, but so far the lunch felt like queuing for school dinners. One staff member kindly went to get me some fish when there wasn’t much at lunch. The staff are great, but the free Wi-Fi keeps dropping out and its security is very poor. Also, don’t come with a VPN, as it isn’t compatible with their system. It seems odd that we’re asked to sign a waiver saying the hotel isn’t responsible for anything that happens here, even while walking around the property, but then can’t use our own VPN to protect ourselves online. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

The ocean views while we ate dinner each night were breathtaking, and we had so much fun snorkeling at the beautiful beach. The hotel’s included water sports were amazing. We made our first trip to Barbados and stayed at Mango Bay, and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, though there were a couple of grumpy ones. Our room was cleaned and turned down every day. The menu changed each night and included a vegetarian option, and the drinks were delicious and kept coming. Damien was such a fun bartender! We’ll be back next year.

The beach is lovely to walk along, and the staff were really friendly. The only issue was the live music being too loud right beside the restaurant. The staff responded and turned it down.
