The beach is quiet and pristine, though the current can get a little strong at times, and my room looked right out over the ocean with the sand just steps away. The staff really made the stay for me. Caroline, Jenni, and Shakeem at the front desk, along with Makayla in Food & Beverage, went out of their way to help and made sure I had a fantastic time. My stay at Southern Palms Beach Club was relaxing and fun, and it exceeded what I expected. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barbados.

The room was basic, but it was very clean, and I slept so well in the comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked great too. WiFi was excellent and I had no trouble staying connected. The hotel is on what I think is the best beach around. It was a comfortable, convenient stay, and I'd like to come back.

The food could take ages to arrive, up to an hour even when the place wasn't busy, and it was on the expensive side. Service charges were also very high, on top of the daily rate. The beach is beautiful and WiFi worked well throughout the hotel. Happy hour was a good deal, two for the price of one. Would I return? Maybe.

I really enjoyed being right on St. Lawrence gap, with direct beach access. The room was clean and the staff friendly. On my birthday, management surprised me with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco, which made my day. Morning walks and time lounging on the beach gave me lovely sunrise and sunset views.

We didn't eat at the hotel because we wanted to try different places, and there are some nice restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel itself was lovely, with good rooms, a great team, and the beach right there. We went for our honeymoon in August 2025 and loved the sunsets. Most days we took the local bus to Bridgetown for 3.50 Barbados dollars each way. The drivers are crazy, but it was fun, and everyone was so friendly. On Friday night we also went by bus to Oistins fish fry for great food, music, and drinks.
