Coral Sands Beach Resort

The studios are very spacious, with sea views, large balconies, and equipped kitchens. The pool area is adequate for the 24 studios and leads out to the beach. The breakfast room is very clean, though not especially cozy. It’s a great place for ‘snow birds’, and the restaurant area of Lawrence gap is a convenient 10 minute walk away. The downside is a beach bar 50 meters away that plays music very loudly all day Sunday and on Tuesday evening, as far as I know.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and Judia, our room attendant, was exceptionally nice and attentive. The hotel was well maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. I did sleep less well because the pillows were a bit flat, and there weren’t many complimentary items, which was a minor drawback. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it for the comfortable setting and friendly service. Better pillows would make the experience even nicer.

For 30 years we’ve been lucky enough to visit Barbados, and many of those trips included stays at Coral Sands. We haven’t been back for a few years because of COVID and a change in my career, but I wanted to finally share how much this hotel means to us. I always kept it to myself because of the peaceful, tranquil stays we had, but the place deserves this recommendation. The people at Coral Sands have felt like family to mine for years. I have enormous respect for all the employees and have always been treated so well. Rosemarie the Owner, Susan, Tyrone, Carleton, Nicki, Carl, and many others made us feel like family every time. Their professionalism, kindness, and Bajan hospitality made our stays amazing. The little things don’t matter much when the big thing is being able to stay with friends in one of the most beautiful places on earth. We have so many special memories: walking to the gap, strolling to Massy's for local shopping, and tasting a double for the first time. Even hearing a frog at our local pond brings back memories of those family holidays at Coral Sands. It’s our special place in Heaven, and I’m proud of all of them. People can have different opinions, but that won’t change mine. Thank you, Coral Sands, for the wonderful memories. We can’t wait to come back home.

I found the hotel while searching and this is my second stay. The location is outstanding, within walking distance of thr gap, Worthing square, and lots of shops in Christ Church. The beach is phenomenal, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms work perfectly for families and friends. I’ll definitely come back.
