The Sands Barbados All Inclusive

The room was lovely, comfortable, and always clean. Our friends were in a Super saver room and said it was perfect, just a bit smaller. With so much to do, you don't spend much time indoors anyway. We also took a four-hour island tour with Antonio, arranged through the resort, and it was wonderful and well worth the cost. We'd just had a glorious seven-day trip to paradise. It's only a ten-minute ride from the airport, and the hospitality started with rum punch at check-in and never let up. Kemar and Michael greeted us at the door and kept us laughing each day. Danny and the other bartenders made fantastic cocktails. Cherie and the buffet team were top notch and got us anything we wanted. The cleaning staff were amazing too.

The Sands has one of the best beaches I've experienced, and I've been to almost a dozen islands. The rooms are large, and our three-bedroom suite was extremely spacious. Staff were lovely, and the food and drinks were great too. It's a very small but cute hotel, so if you're used to even mid-sized or smaller large-scale resorts like Royalton, Beaches, or Riu, the single restaurant, bar, and pool may come as a shock. I personally prefer bigger resorts, but the quality here is great, and The Sands has something good going. I'd return.

Michael from guest services went above and beyond, making it easy to plan and book all our excursions. Kenmar, Nicoli, David, who made incredible cosmos, and Antonio, who kept the energy up, were all wonderful. So were the ladies in the dining hall, especially Anna-Lisa, who was always smiling. It was our first time on the island for our annual girls' trip in 2026. Our spacious three-bedroom, two-bath suite was comfortable and convenient, just right for the three of us to share. We left a little piece of ourselves there. Definitely a trip to remember.

There are just a few steps from the hotel to the beach if you want to relax there. It's also a good base for visiting Barbados, an island that's beautiful, friendly, and full of history. Transport into Oistins and Speighstown is convenient, and you can visit their sister hotel Mango Bay in Holetown. This Bajan-owned hotel accommodated our four-generation family holiday generously, with 11 of us in a mix of suites, apartments, and rooms. The accommodation was lovely, the grounds pristine, and the beach beautiful. The staff at The Sands were outstanding and helped make our stay memorable. There's a good range of food: breakfast and lunch, either as a sit-down meal or a burger, fish, or veggie burger on the beach. I particularly enjoyed the Bajan national dish Coucou and fish, and afternoon tea is available too. It's an all-rounder for families and couples.
