Hill Palace Resort offers a quiet setting near Meghla Lake Square in Talukdar Para, about 3.5 kilometers from Bandarban city center. The bathroom setup is awful. Its toilet is filthy, like a public toilet, and the drain pipe is close to the door while the faucet and shower are on the opposite side. After bathing, you have to walk through wastewater to get out. They don’t change the sheets or clean the bathroom or floor during your stay, and there’s no Wi-Fi. Electricity cuts out often, with no backup power. Terrible management. This resort is the worst.

The bed was comfortable, but they gave us one blanket for two people, which was disgusting. The Wi-Fi connection was bad, and there wasn’t anything special about the place. There wasn’t even a landline phone in the room, or toothpaste and a toothbrush. They should at least have provided toothpaste.

The lake and hill views are rare to find, and the resort is away from the crowds with a nice environment and awesome hospitality. The rooms are all very nice and spacious. One funny thing, you could play football in the washroom with your wife while on your honeymoon.
