The setting is the main draw at Nilachal Nilambori Resort. From its scenic elevation, you get wide views across the green hills and open sky, especially at sunrise and sunset when the hills change color. It’s quiet and peaceful, a nice place for families, couples, or solo travelers wanting a break from city routines and some time in nature. The rooms are clean and well maintained, with a simple, practical setup that fits a hill resort. Balconies and open areas make it easy to enjoy the fresh air, and the grounds are spacious enough to walk around without feeling crowded. The staff are polite and helpful, adding a welcoming personal touch. Food is good, with local and standard choices, and meals are fresh and reasonably priced for the location. Keep in mind that road conditions and network coverage can be challenging in this hill-track area. The remoteness does make it easier to unplug and relax. For a simple, memorable stay in Bandarban with natural scenery and a calm atmosphere, I’d highly recommend it.

The views are wonderful, with mountain tops and Bandarban city visible from the room, especially at night. Once it gets quiet, you can enjoy the whole Nilachol site almost by yourself. The restaurant food is tasty, though expensive, and there aren’t any shops or markets nearby, so get snacks before nightfall. Daytime heat can be intense if you visit in summer or early in the rainy season. There’s no AC, and the small fan plus an extra fan they provide still aren’t enough. It cools down at night, but you have to leave the window open, which means insects and bugs can get in. Room service was poor too. I asked for water at 12:30 at night and was told they couldn’t get any, though they brought it after I kept pressing.
