Jatra Flagship Khulna City Centre

I had a really nice time at Jatra in Khulna. The host was so friendly that after just two nights, I felt we’d become friends. My room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was great, with hot water, fresh towels, soap, and a dental kit. As a travel vlogger, I also appreciated having more than one electric socket. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, which made for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was available, but I didn’t try it because I had to leave very early both mornings. Thank you Jatra!

The rooms, beds, and toilets were all neat and clean, really very good. It would be handy to have a sponge sandal in each room for the toilet, though. The breakfast is brought in from outside, and its quality could be better.

The service felt uneven and unfair. Staff seemed to respond differently depending on how much they thought a guest could spend, and sometimes they ignored requests or took a long time to answer. When I booked a standard suite, they wouldn’t help carry my luggage, while guests with VIP suites were offered that help. That was disappointing. There’s also the inconvenience of the place operating like an apartment rather than a regular hotel. Every time you want to get in, you have to ring the bell, which didn’t feel professional.

The staff were welcoming and helpful the whole time. My room was clean, comfortable, nicely maintained, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Khulna.
