The location in Aalst made a great base for seeing Belgium. Brussels is about 30 km away, and trains connect well to Bruges and Ghent. We spent a week at Bed & Breakfast Befour and had a wonderful time. Bert was especially kind and welcoming, always checking that we had what we needed. Our apartment/room was spacious, spotless, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Each morning there was a little chocolate on the bed, such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with plenty of sweet and savory choices. Befour felt comfortable and welcoming, and we'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The rooms are consistently clean and cozy, breakfast is great, and the surrounding area is lovely. The hosts are such warm, kind people that this is easily the best B&B I've stayed in. I keep choosing it over any hotel.
