Daily Apartments - Antwerp City

We booked two nights at Daily Apartments in Antwerp, but the apartment was so filthy and unhygienic that we chose not to sleep there. I reported it to the owner right away, but a refund wasn't possible. What shocked us was that new guests had already been put in our room while we still had the keys. We could walk straight in and see their suitcases. That's very unprofessional and a serious security risk. We strongly advise against staying here.

The location is great, but the apartment at Maalderijstraat 5 is run-down and nowhere near luxurious. It's quite dirty, and many things are broken or damaged. The stairwell is filthy, the door doesn't close properly, and the place is very noisy. The bathroom has dirty sealant and wet, swollen baseboards. There was no toilet paper when visitors arrived. The pictures in the living room are damaged and should be thrown out. The beds are downright bad, and the dirty mattresses seem to have many pee stains. Really disgusting. The sofa sags, with crumbs and dirt under the cushions. The windows are dirty and don't close well. It's a shame about all the dirt. Fix things quickly and invest some money so you can make money too.

The location is the one good thing here. The showers were filthy and the sofa bed was awful, though we could put up with those. The service is why I’m giving it one star, which is already too generous. They charged €100 for taking the Chromecast power strip, even though it was never brought to us and a power strip costs no more than €10. Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t book here!
