ibis budget Antwerpen Centraal Station

For a simple room near the central station, the ibis budget is a good option, especially with breakfast available. The rooms aren't pretty, but they're practical and have what you need for a decent night's sleep. The receptionists were helpful and friendly. Breakfast is affordable and has an acceptable range, though the dining area has a canteen feel. I'd stay again.

The staff made me feel at home. They were kind, friendly, and lovely to talk to. I was there for a few days on holiday, and the room was just as expected, clean and comfortable, with nothing missing. It's right beside the station, which is very convenient. There was construction next door during the day, as of November 2025, but it didn't bother me. Thanks, Ibis!

The location is great, but I'd only choose this place on a tight budget. The rooms are cramped, the toilets are tiny, and travelling with a few people means very little privacy. In my room, there was a mirror facing the shower, and there was nowhere to put hangers in the shower. The beds were uncomfortable and arranged as bunks. There were no lockers in the room, and no kettle or fridge either.

Antwerpen gave me a refreshing, meaningful trip. Exploring its beautiful churches and peaceful streets with friends helped me reconnect with Christian tradition and my values. The conversations were memorable too. The ibis hotel felt welcoming and comfortable, with what we needed after long days out. It was a lovely mix of reflection, friendship, and fun, and I left feeling grateful and inspired.
