Kabas Hostel

The price was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I loved staying at this Hostel. We played games with other guests and staff, shared drinks and laughs, and the staff even did our laundry. Best of all, you can spend time with the chickens, shout out to Frankie and Jerry. Kabas Hostel and Antwerp were among the highlights of my trip. I’ll definitely stay here if I come back, and I highly recommend it.

I spent four weeks volunteering at Kabas Hostel, and it was the best time of my life. Bart, the owner who also works at the Hostel, is incredibly sweet and always ready to help with a smile. The place is kept clean and tidy, and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. The living room is cozy, with a TV where you can watch what you like, as long as you use good judgment. There are shared tables for meals inside and outside in the small, charming garden, with 3 chicken at the back. It takes about a 30-minute walk to reach the city center, and the beautiful streets make the walk interesting. There are impressive churches, little castles, and more around every corner. That was especially striking for me since I don’t live in Europe and wasn’t used to it. I’m so grateful for this amazing place and all the lovely people I met there. I’d recommend it a million times. Don’t think twice, I can assure you it’s your best option :) Greetings from Brazil, and I hope to go back soon :)

The staff were kind and helpful, and it was peaceful with no traffic noise. The center is a couple of kilometers away, but still within walking distance. Cozy, affordable, and clean. Breakfast was tasty, with cereal, bread, and the like, and the hens in the backyard were cute.

Amazing place, with a great location and two stores nearby. The atmosphere feels very familiar, the staff are amazing, the beds are great, and everything is super clean. Tea and coffee are available all day, and towels and lockers are free too. Possibly the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in!
