Breakfast was delicious, and the woman looking after it was attentive. We walked over from Central Station, and the Historic Center is about a 15-minute walk if you want to explore. Even though we arrived during self check-in hours and found our way in ourselves, the evening staff came over to greet us later. One very kind man, whose name we sadly didn't catch, remembered it was our anniversary. Such a lovely stay, with a great team.
The room was nice, but the doors let in every sound and all the rooms face the staircase. It was really noisy. Skip this place if a quiet night's sleep matters to you.
It was okay.
The location is great, the staff are friendly and the rooms are nice. But in summer, sleeping here was rough. The small double bed was hot, and there was no air conditioning, just a feeble fan. With wooden Venetian blinds instead of blackout curtains, daylight was already coming in at 6:00. At €180 a night, I think you can find somewhere much better in Antwerp.
The center is an easy walk away, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, served in a cosy room. It's a really lovely hotel, opened in March 2018, with an inviting interior. The rooms are generous in size, and the bathroom is big and has everything you could want.
