The hostess was fabulous and served what might be the best continental breakfast I can remember: fruit, fresh juice, cheese, cold cuts and perfect homemade spreads. This is a cosy, affordable B&B in picturesque central Antwerp, and there’s free parking nearby. It sounds almost too good to be true, but it’s real. Families with slightly older kids could take both rooms, with a bathroom for each and some separation while staying on the same floor.

We only stayed one night, but had a great experience. The hostess was very nice and gave us a booklet of things to do nearby. The room and bathroom were both really clean, and our window looked out toward the river. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, perfect for relaxing after time wandering around Antwerp. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The breakfast was really nice, and the hosts were friendly enough to make us feel at home right away. My partner and I stayed one night at Sablon while cycle touring through Belgium and the Netherlands. We loved the beautifully refurbished old building and its convenient location for the old town, shops, cafes and restaurants. Strongly recommended!

The owner even surprised me with a birthday cake in the morning, just 30 minutes after my sister had told her it was my birthday. Our host made us feel like special guests as soon as we arrived. I felt completely at ease at Sablon. You can tell passionate people run this B&B. The rooms are lovely and full of detail, the location is good, and the hospitality is attentive. I highly recommend staying here!
