The Central Square Residence

The place looks awesome on Airbnb, but there were poop stains on the sheets 😵‍💫

We complained on December 27th and, more than a week later, still hadn’t had any reply, even though we followed up several times. The customer service was as bad as the hygiene. The apartment owner has outsourced it to another company, so you keep getting passed from one place to another. We only stayed one night at The Central Square Residence, but that was enough for us to know we’d never come back. The shower was covered in what looked like mold. When we called, they said it wasn’t mold and denied there was a problem. The window was damaged, the walls had black streaks and didn’t look clean, and the whole room smelled of urine and sewage. The towels were stained and had a hairball in them. This was not a pleasant or comfortable stay. Please be warned before booking.

The location is the only thing it has going for it, and it isn’t worth it. The photos didn’t match the apartment. We had to call about dirty sheets, and the oven and bathroom were awful. There’s a pub in the building, so the noise kept us from sleeping. The air conditioning didn’t work for three days. We complained but got no solution, and we were freezing. DO NOT RENT.

We were short two beds, so one friend had to lie on the table and another on the counter. There was blood on the curtains, stains on the blankets, and hairballs in the towels. The limescale was everywhere. Don’t book here, it was a truly terrible experience.
