That grandmother offering horseback rides for the little ones was the icing on the cake. The house was roomy, warmly welcoming, and furnished just right for families with children. After more than 10 years of weekend trips in the Ardennes, I'd say this was one of our best stays. Highly recommended!

The blue route is beautiful, with a bit of climbing mixed in with easy walking. It's over 6 km, so enjoy the walk and the photos!

There are lovely hiking trails nearby, and the landlords are really friendly. The man speaks Dutch well, so it's easy to communicate clearly. It's a great place for a large group, though the house can feel a little scary at night.

Little bridges, streams, and slopes made for a fantastic time out in nature, and it costs nothing. Just keep an eye out for slippery stones and check where you park, since parking isn't allowed everywhere 😏
