Appart Hôtel En Ville

The parking and door code instructions were clear and helpful, and the owner was quick to sort out a small problem with the coffee maker by bringing a replacement. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It’s on a busy street, though we liked watching it from the window. I also met the owner and his wife, who run the lovely flower shop, and they were both very nice. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and would come back if we get the chance.

I come from the States to see my mother in a Senior Home in Bastogne twice a year, and after trying places in and around town, even across the border in Luxembourg, this is the best. I stayed in an Appart Hotel studio for two weeks. It’s spotless, safe, and very well insulated, with fast WIFI and a USB port for chargers. The beds, linen, and towels are excellent, and the shower room is spacious. I loved the decor, especially the wall behind the bed, and the compact kitchen is thoughtfully laid out and well equipped. Best of all, no carpet! The owners live nearby, are easy to reach, and respond quickly. They also own the shop downstairs, where you can find a lovely gift for anyone. I’ll be back.

The friendly owner met us to make sure the room was OK, and it was great. The apartment is brand new and modern, with everything you need, and much better than a hotel. It’s on one of Bastogne’s main streets, close to three Belgian chocolate shops, including Leonida's, and lots of shopping. The Bastogne War Museum is nearby, and I recommend buying tickets online in advance. The town square has museum-quality tanks and memorials to the Americans who liberated Bastogne. A must-see stop if you’re planning a trip between Germany and Paris.

We only had one night here, and I was sorry we couldn’t stay longer. The room was so nice, brand new and flawless, in a great spot for exploring Bastogne. The bed was comfortable, the TV large, and the bathroom nice. There was even a little balcony, plus an oven and a great kitchenette. They’d left two cups and espresso pods for the Nespresso machine, and breakfast can be ordered and placed in a neat little nook by the room, though we didn’t try it. My husband and I loved the room, and it was easily one of the best value places I’ve stayed. They’ve thought of everything. I’d highly recommend it.
