The owner is friendly, breakfast is great, and the modern bathrooms go well with the spacious rooms. It’s a lovely classic villa within walking distance of the beach and shopping centre. Definitely a must-do!

The suite was so pleasant, and we got a warm welcome. The owner did everything she could to make sure we were happy, with thoughtful little things like a hairdryer. Lunch was tailored perfectly to what we’d asked for, thanks to her well-planned tasting menu. I highly recommend it without hesitation. It was truly excellent, and we’ll definitely return.

Breakfast was fresh, generous and served with care, with a lovely personal touch from the hostess. She’s sweet, enthusiastic and jovial, and clearly puts her heart into looking after the B&B and its guests. Her warm welcome really made us feel at home. Villa D’Hondt is a charming, cozy place in a great spot, close to the station and just 100 meters from the shopping streets, market and boulevard. It’s an easy base for exploring Blankenberge and the Belgian coast while still having a peaceful stay. The stately house has original features throughout, including stained-glass windows and painted walls and ceilings, all lovingly kept. Our room was spacious, clean and stylish, and the surroundings were quiet. Parking was the less convenient part. We could only load and unload on the street, and the car park was about a 10-minute walk away. The room also got quite warm, with no air-conditioning, during a spell of warm days and nights.

This lovely 1904 house has beautiful ceilings and is cared for by a very friendly hostess. The breakfast was delicious.
