The dining room feels quite small for the number of people the holiday house can accommodate. It’s set up for groups, with a professional kitchen, though having it down in the cellar isn’t very convenient. The rooms were clean but old and in need of renovation.

Quite expensive, and old and outdated.

Villa Beaufort could once have been a beautiful building, which you can still see in its lovely facade, but now it badly needs renovation and a more thorough clean. There’s a slight toilet smell throughout. Cracks, missing pieces, mold, and damp patches show up in nearly every room except the living room, and one bathroom leaked water through the ceiling. Each bedroom does have its own bathroom. The living room was okay, but Wi-Fi only worked there, and parking inside the building costs extra. In one bedroom, trash including beer cans, deodorant, and a chip bag was left clearly visible under the bed when we arrived. It was absolutely filthy and made me wonder how carefully the place is cleaned.

Such a lovely, cozy place. I rent it once a year for about 15 people, and it’s always a pleasure to be there and stay. 🙌
