Hotel De Notelaer

The food and bar area were the best part, and they were really well done. The rooms, though, were small, dated, and poor. Service was mediocre, and the staff didn't speak any language very well or seem especially focused on customer service. While I was checking in, the daughter ran over to show her dad something on YouTube. He also didn't understand the idea of an ironing board. Three stars at best.

A small, cosy hotel with just a few rooms, decorated nicely. The staff were accommodating and the service was good. It's well located in Bornem. Good recommendation.

In the village and close to everything, with renovated rooms, a good breakfast, and a good restaurant.

The starter tasted good, though it was a little small. The Holstein beef main course was seriously overpriced, and the sauces alongside it seemed clearly ready-made rather than prepared in-house. Even though the place wasn't half full, it took over two hours for the starter and main course to arrive. We'd had really good experiences here before, but it's very unlikely we'll be back soon.
