We had a lovely weekend here with family, and the accommodation was impeccable. Just be aware that getting the deposit back can be difficult. Luckily, the intermediary stood up for us, and we did get it back. Thanks to that very helpful, caring person.

We enjoyed the garden and terrace in the lovely weather, and Conny was very helpful with the keys. The house has an unusual layout: the living area, kitchen, and a toilet are on the middle floor; three bedrooms, a bathroom, and another toilet are at street level; and the garden level has a master suite and separate toilet. It’s a great place for friends or family, and we highly recommend it. A child safety gate at the top and bottom of the first stairs would be useful with young children, though we managed. Recycling was fine, but we couldn’t find a place for glass bottles or cardboard, so we took them with us. The kitchen is well equipped, and we’d suggest adding an ice maker. There are also a few puzzles and games.

The town is very nice, and visiting the castle was fantastic. The house itself was comfortable and well equipped, with a large garden looking out over the forest.

Lovely house, though the walk up from the village feels pretty steep after a few strong beers 😅
