The garden is beautiful, and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had. It’s a nice hotel with a very good restaurant. Our room, though, was tiny and faced the street, which wasn’t as quiet as promised. It also got quite warm because of the room’s size and the weather.

The place felt really welcoming, and our four-course dinner with wine pairing was delicious. There was a friendly cat around too, which is a nice bonus if you love animals.

We wanted a beer on the terrace on a sunny evening, but service never really happened. We sat outside where staff could see us through the window, yet nobody came over for about 15 minutes. I went inside to order, thinking maybe it was bar service, and the waiter said sure, so I returned to my seat. Ten minutes later, we still had no beers and decided to leave. Only then did the waiter call after us from a distance, asking, “sir, your beers?!”

The food and the place were nice. I didn’t stay long, but enjoyed my time here.
