Hotel Relais Godefroy

The location is very good, and breakfast was okay, though mostly sweet with no eggs or vegetables. In the room, the WiFi connection was very poor. There was no parking available except on the street, which was always full. I also found dead spiders on the floor, and the shared showers were hard to use because the heat and water flow couldn't be adjusted.

The WiFi kept cutting out, and the shower was a very basic plastic box. What really shocked us was the €17 breakfast charge. We'd only had a banana and a croissant, and I wish we'd been told about the price when booking. The hotel itself was okay.

Boullion was a very nice city, but our stay was a sad story. The hotel was really dirty, especially the showers and underneath the bed, and there was no WiFi. Nobody spoke English, or even seemed to try. In one of the best-known tourist cities in the Ardennes, I expected the hosts to make a bit of effort. I'd have been better off paying a little more for somewhere nicer.

The buffet barbecue is well worth it. The ribs were amazing, there were plenty of vegetables, and most of us at the table had enough from the first plate. Lovely food.
