Het Leerhof

Het Leerhof is a charmingly restored farmhouse in rural Parike (Brakel), in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes, where the atmosphere is peaceful and harmonious. You can spend the day cycling or walking in the hills, visit Brakelbos forest or nearby towns like Geraardsbergen, Oudenaarde, Zottegem, and Ronse, or simply relax in the garden or library. Later, enjoy a drink in the quiet courtyard or by the wood-burning stoves. Families and groups of friends will find plenty to do here. This country hotel has a family feel and suits a quiet break alone, with family, friends, or colleagues. There are nine guest rooms, cosy lounge areas, several seminar rooms, and a small banquet hall for relaxing, celebrating, meeting, or personal development. There are also many activities for anyone wanting something more active, mentally or physically. The garden is a lovely place to curl up with a book from the extensive library. Children can play on the trampoline, run around in the meadows, and meet the donkeys, Leonardo and Noor, or Fabon the horse. When the weather turns bad, the warm wood-burning stove in the cosy chat rooms is just right for board games, watching TV together, or reading. The hotel has an A+ accessibility rating.
