Ibis Styles Bredene

I felt safe here as a woman travelling alone. Reception had vending machines, and the bar area was pleasant. The hotel seems conscious of waste: pastries left over from breakfast are offered later for people to grab and go. It's a ten minute walk to the tram stop for trips along the coast. There is limited underground parking in high season, with a public car park in front. My room was well equipped with a Nespresso coffee maker, safe, and fridge. It was spacious, and although the small balcony wasn't really usable, I liked being able to open the door for fresh air. The window could be tilted open overnight, and I slept better than I have in ages. It was my first stay in Bredene, and I was pleasantly surprised. The young woman at reception was welcoming and helpful, suggesting places to eat during the beach resort's off season.

The beach nearby is amazing, and its beach bar is great value. The hotel itself offers good value for money, with lovely staff.

We visited in December and were quite cold overnight because the heating was hard to operate. The room was spacious, with a balcony and a comfortable bed, and the receptionist was very nice. Parking cost €20 per night, though the public car park next door was free until 10am. It's quite a drive from the motorway.

A quiet hotel with good service, close to the central part of Bredene. It's a very nice place to stay while travelling there. During the big holidays, there's also a fair not far away.
