We celebrated our son's wedding here in 2019, using the lovely wedding hall and garden. The event was very well managed, and it's a wonderful setting for a wedding. We also had beautiful rooms, a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended, top notch!

The venue itself is fantastic, private and tucked away, with plenty of parking. Sadly, arranging our wedding there was a frustrating experience, and we've lost trust in the service. After my fiancée and I met the manager in person, we arranged a viewing. A few days before, he called to say he'd double-booked and needed to reschedule. That can happen, and we did get to see the place at the next appointment. We discussed options for our wedding day, and he entered them on his laptop, saying he'd email a quote that evening. A week passed with no quote. My fiancée emailed to ask about it and got no reply for days. I called, reached voicemail, then received a callback. When I explained who I was and asked about the quote, the manager seemed surprised it hadn't arrived. My fiancée then finally got a response: the owner had lost the itinerary and options he'd typed, and asked us to call or email them again. He said he was behind on emails and would send a quote as soon as possible. She forwarded everything, but several weeks have gone by with no further word. Terrible service, which is a real shame given how lovely the location is. I hope they learn from it.

The garden is big and beautiful, and the place has a peaceful feel that I'd gladly return for. Our room was very clean and had what we needed. There's also a bath, sauna, jacuzzi and infrared facilities. The hostess was lovely, friendly and always around, and breakfast was delicious with everything you could want. Thanks, Mintje!
