The main drawback was the private bathroom being outside the bedroom. It was only for my use during the stay, and large curtains in the hall offered some privacy, but the setup wasn't ideal. It also got too warm inside in the evening during my mid-June visit, which made sleeping harder. The curtains darkened the room well, but with the sun rising so early that time of year, that wasn't much help. The room was large and mostly comfortable, with a small terrace over the street. The owner lives upstairs and was very friendly. The furniture mixed some nice pieces with lower-quality ones, though everything was functional. The building is beautiful, like many in Brussels, and kept fairly original apart from what looked like a recently renovated bathroom. The location is fantastic, on a side street with little traffic and very close to everything convenient in Flagey. It might be less suitable for a short tourist visit.

I've stayed here around ten times, usually for three days, and the owner still manages to make me feel at home right away. She pays attention to little details and goes out of her way to make the stay enjoyable. Hard to find a friendlier place to stay in Brussels. Recommended!

The host is so friendly, you can tell she loves having guests. The rooms were quiet, clean, and well equipped. I'd absolutely recommend it.

The owner is charming, and the hotel has plenty of character. Staying here made going to meetings at a local office a completely positive experience. Highly recommend.
